Doubtless the title of this collection is a little puzzling for many. The images in this collection are composites. Exposing for a flying bird in lower light and exposing for the sky are very different, often as much as three stops. So sometimes I shoot the bird, then turn right around and shoot the sky and combine the two images in post processing. The result is very much like what one actually sees, rather than the version of the scene limited by current photographic technology.
