Monarchs and bees were both feeding on this John Pye plant. Occasionally the bees would fly up behind and bump the Monarchs, and if the bees got on the same flower the Monarchs would thwack the bees with their wings. No one got hurt, so it was quite amusing to watch. A lucky shot got both a Monarch and bee in the same plane of focus.
